Heavy Antique Cast Iron Door Pull Handle Old Maine Barn Description This massive cast iron barn door pull was cast in a style similar to the so-called Blake thumb latches. It came from the large sliding door from a barn built in the 1870's and appeared original to the building. 10" x 2 3/4", inside grip 5" T will be many types of antique hardware available for auction. These pieces have been rescued from historic buildings in the Portland , Maine area that were either demolished or remodeled. These pieces belong to a gentleman considered to be an expert in mid-to late-nineteenth-century hardware. He has been collecting since he was a kid, arriving at the site of demolition to rescue these wonderful pieces. We take a lot of pride in the products we offer. All the hardware is original -- no reproductions ever . The items are old, used and full of character. No two pieces are exactly alike. Will include items such as door knobs, bin pulls, hinges, window locks, etc...
