This is quite a remarkable decanter! Very detailed and enjoyable to look at. I would assume that it took lots of time and patience to cut a piece like this. The sides are cut wider than the middle section, giving dimension with the etched / cut detail work. You can see this in the pictures. The decanter stopper matches the body of the piece. I am not sure the exact age of this piece, nor who made it. I picked it up at an estate sale as I saw it from across the room and had to have it. I would guess it is antique to 1950's, since there was really nothing newer than 1960 at this estate sale. I think this has a Mid Century or Mad Men look to it, but it could be much older. It definitely will bring some character to a room or liquor cabinet regardless! Please feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding this piece. It has quite a bit of weight to it coming in at just around 5 lbs. 10 1/2" tall, 4.75" wide, 3" deep ...... Decanter is 8 1/2" tall without the stopper ...... The stopper is 2.75" X 2
