**BEAUTIFUL**c1900 VICTORIAN 12K ROLLED ROSE GOLD NECK CHAIN-20gm I am pleased to offer this Antique Victorian 12K Rolled Rose Gold neck chain that has a lovely thick curb link chain ... It is that antique rose gold that PINK GOLD color so highly sought after . Please take time to look at all the photos to see these beautiful piece.. As always the photos were taken outdoors to give a true indication of its condition but the photos are a bit dull due to overcast conditions...any dark shadows appearing on the piece are reflection only ..and it has NEVER been polished but is nice and SHINY ! HISTORY It is Circa 1900 by design and styling...and it came from a British estate. These heavy rolled rose gold neck chains are becoming VERY RARE in this style , and weight... so dont miss this one! .. It has the original very old Fob closure.. to use as the locking clasp for this necklace .. You can attach a large Victorian locket through the Fob .. as was often done with these pieces.. DESCRIPTION and SIZING It is not hallmarked for gold content but the outer surface tests positive for 12 karat gold and it was sold to me as rolled gold. but may also be gold shell.. .. . Antique Rolled Gold is considered to be equivalent in quality to todays low karat gold. This one is of a lovely quality, and I have one of these and these look great for everyday wear with any outfit ... ....I wear mine constantly.....and being solid they will withstand a good deal of normal wear and tear unlike hollow link necklaces. It is a fabulous antique soft rose gold color, .that PINK ROSE GOLD so highly sought after. The links are curb link and the links are SOLID NOT HOLLOW It sparkles beautifully, and catches the light with every turn, .....and this WILL get noticed and admired ! This measures 14 1/4 " length and the heavy chain measure just under 3/16" in width and sit beautifully on the neckline.. a nice choker length.. I can add an extender to increase length if required but it is always nice to have a choker style to suspend a Victorian locket from. The large Fob clasp is very secure with tension and spring . I have not cleaned the chain.. and it will look even more beautiful with a clean, and will leave this to the new owner. It really is exquisite , and will one day become a lovely family heirloom piece to hand down to future generations. It weighs approx 20 grams which further adds to its appeal ! I will be watching this auction with interest as this is truly a beautiful heavy neck chains that can be worn daily due to its solid construction This really is in lovely antique condition ! The photos do not depict its beauty of the antique soft rose gold color, and they appear brassy, ...and it is much much nicer in person. ....Please check my feedback so you may feel confident bidding with me..
