Do to a non paying bidder I am relisting this cannon . Up for your consideration this old Cast Iron and Brass Cannon with a married Ammunition Trailer. Both pieces end-to-end measure approx. 15 inches long. The cannon is cast iron and the trailer has painted metal wheels and a cast body. The trailer is mark stamped with the number "8". The wheels are attached with the single bar and hammered on the ends. The trailer has a hook that allows it to be attached to the cannon. The Cannon alone measures 8 3/8 inches long and stands approx. 3 1/2 inches tall. One of the spoked wheels on the cannon is missing the locking metal grommet that holds the wheel. A common item at Home Depot being a locking nut. The brass cannon swivels up and down and even has a hole for the fuse/wick. The cannon has the stamped number 4on the underside. Both piece are in good condition with no cracks or repairs. There is some paint loss mainly to the metal ammunition trailer, but nothing major. Both pieces display very well and would be a great addition to any collection. Thank you for looking.
