If I'm Not Mistaken This is a German Butcher model Cavalry Sword From WWI, It Has a Crown With a 16 Is That The Date? If You Have More Info Please Let me know And I'll And to the listing.Marked Simson & Co Suhl I've Seen them on Ebay But not made By This Company.It Does Have A Massive Blade Measures 30 1/2 long, 1 1/4 wide At the Widest Point, The Whole Sword Has a Very Nice Patina To It,The Scabbard Does Have a Few Dings 3 About Penny size,The Blade Has Been Sharpened About 3/4 Quarters Of the way up from the tip,Looks like to me Been Sharpened Back in the Day.Nice Wood Handle With a Heavy Pommel,The blade and the handle are marked with a Crown W 16,I Must Say When the Blade Is Pulled From The Scabbard It has a very Distinctive Sword Sound,Very Cool You Don't hear it in a lot of swords,Check out the pictures And You Decide, Any Questions Just Email,I Will ship World wide!!!!!
