WHAT A LOVELY ANTIQUE CASED SILVER 4 PIECE CRUET SET. IT IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY and in tip top order. A very special set and would doubtless make a lovely present! Here we have a quite exceptional and quite lovely silver cruet set of a very large size.Hallmarks are deep and clear. Assayed in Sheffield,1959-year letter R-and it has a maker's mark for the illustrious Mappin & Webb.The spoon is dated 2 years later and by them too. This is a lovely early Elizabeth II lot and a must have. A really delightful set and of the highest possible quality too. For reference of scale the size of the salt pot is 3.375 inches in height. Made of very thick gauge silver,this lovely set has an actual silver weight of a very good 244 grams (7.85 troy ounces). This weight does not include that of the flawless blue glass liner for the mustard. This lovely item is of exceptional quality and is a most delightful boxed set of dining table silver. The condition is terrific. It is unengraved and always has been,definitely no erasures either. Please note that i have listed many other good items of both modern and antique silver,please do have a look-including sets of very good flatware. I have also listed good items of Concorde memorabilia including a money clip,bookmark and photograph frame.All are as new and boxed too. A truly beautiful and most wonderful lot. Would be ideal as a birthday or special gift. PERFECT FOR USE ALL YEAR ROUND!
