WHAT A LOVELY MODERN SILVER 5 PIECE CRUET SET. IT IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY and in very good order. A very special set and would doubtless make a lovely present! Here we have a quite exceptional and quite lovely silver cruet set of a quite large size.Hallmarks are deep and clear. All pots are assayed in Birmingham,1976-year letter B-and have a maker's mark for J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd.The mustard spoon is dated Birmingham,1935 and the salt spoon is London,1894.Both are a good match and fit. This is a lovely Elizabeth II lot and a must have. A really delightful set and of the highest possible quality too. For reference of scale the size of the pepper pot is 3.125 inches in height. Made of very thick gauge silver,this lovely set has an actual silver weight of a very good 211 grams (6.78 troy ounces). This weight does not include that of the flawless blue glass liners for the mustard and salt. This lovely item is of exceptional quality and is a most delightful and elegant set of dining table silver. The condition is excellent bar some stubborn pitting. It is unengraved and always has been,definitely no erasures either. Please note that i have listed many other good items of both modern and antique silver,please do have a look-including sets of very good flatware. I have also listed good items of Concorde memorabilia including a money clip,bookmark and photograph frame.All are as new and boxed too. A truly beautiful and most wonderful lot. Would be ideal as a birthday or special gift. PERFECT FOR USE ALL YEAR ROUND!
