Tang marked "W. Greaves and Sons, Sheaf Works". One of the early moves away from the traditional wedge. A far cry from hollow grinding, but a step in that direction. Black horn handle has a few small bug bites, n o other problems. Pewter spacer. Blade has a light patina/pitting, nothing major . I measure the blade as a hair under 7/8. Definitely could be honed to shave.
