This is a fine (and heavy) ribbed glass Decanter or Claret Jug - the shape reminds me of a duck! I bought this at an Antique Fair several years ago, however, I have no idea how old it is. It weighs a hefty 1,200 grams. Please bear this in mind relating to 'Tracked' postage cost. The glass has a ribbed effect, with silver-plate hinged collar lid, handle and base. It is unmarked, however, is silver plated. Standing approx. 9 and 1/2 inches high , to the top of it's 'beak' - the glass body of the decanter is approx 6 and 1/2 inches wide , and the base is approx 3 and 1/2 inches in diameter . It is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or splits. Please take the time to view my other vintage items, silver and vintage costume jewellery that I am currently listing.
