These great vintage solid copper chest / box shows what appears to be religious apostles set in panels around the box . The box is cast of solid copper with a hinged lid and hasp. The base is lined with a thin mahogany. Each panel depicts different religious scenes with gothic style arches. I am unable to find any makers mark or name. It may show something underneath the mahogany lining but I am unable to remove it. The box is certainly vintage not too sure on age. It measures approx 6" x 4" x 3" tall. It comes in excellent with no damage. The white marks on the inside are from dried metal polish. It could do with a good polish but I will leave that for the successful bidder. It weighs 1250g (2.75 lbs). Buyer pays only actual shipping costs with no additional charges and no handling fees. Check out my other auction listings for other interesting items. Thanks.
