Here we have a lovely and most useable solid silver hallmarked basting spoon of very good gauge and weight.Hallmarks are deep and clear. A very special and eye catching piece indeed.Also called a gravy or stuffing spoon. A really delightful and scarce early 19th century Regency piece. The length is of very good size at 12 inches. Assayed in London,1813-year letter S.Maker is TB-Thomas Barker. This lovely item is of exceptional quality and it is a most delightful piece of antique table silver. Its weight is a very good 137 grams (4.41 troy ounces),this piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.All it needs is to be used! The condition is excellent. It is unengraved and always has been.Please note that i have listed many other good items of both modern and antique silver,please do have a look-including more teasets,canteens and good individual pots.
