Here we have a lovely and most useable solid silver hallmarked basting spoon of very good gauge and weight.Hallmarks are deep and clear. A very special and eye catching piece indeed.Also called a gravy or stuffing spoon. A really delightful and scarce early 19th century Regency piece. The length is of very good size at 12 inches. Assayed in London,1813-year letter S.Maker is TB-Thomas Barker. This lovely item is of exceptional quality and it is a most delightful piece of antique table silver. Its weight is a very good 137 grams (4.41 troy ounces),this piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.All it needs is to be used! The condition is excellent.
