DESCRIPTION : This is a MAGNIFICENT silver bracelet that was made in Mexico, circa 1940's, by CORO. During World War II, Hector Aguilar and Gerald Rosenberger, the owner of CORO, entered into a financial partnership. Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda produced silver jewelry for CORO in great volume. The identical hallmark on this bracelet is shown under "Hallmarks of the Taller Borda" on page 12 of Penny C. Morrill's fabulous book, Silver Masters of Mexico . This is a masterfully crafted VERY dimensional silver repousse bracelet in a classical design with a wonderful art deco look ~ it consists of seven wedge shaped links that are connected with square silver links. The clasp is a tongue and box closure that works perfectly and closes with a crisp 'click'. This is a very collectible, signed piece ~ art-to-wear at it's finest ~ it is extremely well crafted and is in pristine condition! SIZE: Inside circumference when closed is 7-1/2", width is 3/4", and weight is 36 grams. CONDITION : Superior vintage condition ~ no dings/dents to silver ~ normal age associated wear ~ no damage noted~ rich, age associated patina to the silver (could be polished to a brilliant shine) ~ just about PERFECT!
