1950s Vintage Dresser Box with Pink Poodle by Hedi Schoop - No Reserve! INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL FOR INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTIONS. This delightful retro styled dresser box has a playful "pink poodle" figure on the lid. The poodle has incised or carved curving black lines in its fur. Dresser box has a rich glossy black glaze with white around the edge of the lid. It is signed (incised) on the bottom "Hedi Schoop - California". Hedi Schoop was a popular California Pottery designer/artist. The box measures 6 3/4 x 4 and is 1 5/8 deep. Measurements do not include the lid which is a bit larger. Poodle figure is 4 3/4 long and 2 1/4 tall. EXCELLENT condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Any discolorations that appear in the black glaze or white spots on the pink poodle in my photos are reflections from glare.
