6 Heinrich and Co, a gold edged dinner plates 1930- 1939 Description op This is a vintage plate that is marked: Old English Staffordshire Ware - Made in England - Adams Jonroth - England Imported Exclusively for Ray Davidson & Ray Silver Springs, Florida. The front reads: Beautiful Silver Springs Florida Glass Bottom Boats. It features scenes of Entrance Silver Springs, Under Water Swimming, Feeding Fish From Glass Bottom Boat, and The Boat Docks. The plate is a plum colored transferware. It measures 6 and 7/8 inches diameter. The plate is in very good condition, under the edge a little bit roughness. A very small bubble burst on surface. But no chips, cracks.. nothing too serious at all. They are almost not noticeable. Lovely vintage souvenir plate from Silver Springs Florida to add to your collection or display. This Jonroth mark was used continually from c.1910 JONROTH had a 61 year relationship with the factory of William Adams & Sons. In 1892, John H Roth made his first visit to the Factory of William Adams & Sons. This began a relationship that was to last up to and after the time of the Wedgwood takeover (in 1966). The name of JONROTH is more closely associated with Adams than any other manufacturer. In 1967 Alfred Meakin supplied Jonroth ware.
