Heberlein Jr. violin in the style of Antonio Stradivarius. Circa 1931, the violin is branded on the wood in 2 places above the original paper label. Branded "H. Th. Heberlein jr." (see photos), and the label reads "Heinrich Th. Heberlein jr. - Markneukirchen 1931 - MADE IN GERMANY - Copie: Antonius Stradivarius" (see photos). The name and history of Heinrich Th. Hebrlein Jr., and his violins are well known by most violin enthusiast. Sides, back, neck, and scroll are very nice with no cracks and tight joints. T is a crack at the seam that runs down the front of the violin, w the wood was joined. It starts at the bottom and runs to approx. the top of the "f" holes (see photo). I'm sure this could be repaired by any reputable luthier. The body measures 14" in length, and the two piece back of light medium curl is in very good condition, no cracks. I am certainly not an expert on violins, but will be happy to try and answer any questions you might have. Includes the original case shown in photos. This vintage Heinrich Th. Heberlein Jr. German violin will make an excellent addition to any collection. Shipping will run $28 including insurance via FedEx Home Delivery. Email for international
