Heinrich Vogel Demonstrational Car Model engine in good shape. It is on a 12" x 12" platform, stands 8 1/2" tall and weighs 5 lb 5 oz. I am not a collector but found this at a auction and thought it was worth buying so my knowledge of how it works is only from me playing with it and what i have found on-line.It is in good shape with some minor issues. The distributor cap is cracked as can be seen in the picture but seems to still function turning on and off 3 lights as you turn the engine over. The transmission box works well and all gears turn. The fan is currently working with a rubber band as can be seen in the picture. The base houses a 9 volt battery witch operates the lights and the switch has 4 prongs, two for the lights and another set for what i would assume to be an electric motor to turn the engine by attaching it to a rod with three prongs out the front of the motor as you can see in the pictures.
