We are pleased to offer a very rare piece of Heintz Art metal ware. This item is in original uncleaned as found condition. T are no dints heavy scratches or ugly places. T is a bit of paint splatter from a roller w the trophy sat in a room that was being painted. The original patina is wonderful. The trophy is the clasic loving cup design. It is 6 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches across the cup. The applied handles add an aditional 1 1/2 inches to each side. The trophy is bronze with very ornate sterling silver scrole applied to both sides. The front is engraved Eatontown Vs. Ft. Hamilton July 5, 1925. The back is engraved Won By. The winner of the event was never added. From my research on the web, this was probably a golf match. Although I did find some reference to a polo event in the area. The bottom of the trophy is marked AHMS in a diamond. Sterling on Bronze. 0045 pat. Aug. 27, 12. If anyone has any good information about this event, I will gladely add it to the listing. The trophy weighs just under 1.5 pounds. Thanks for looking
