Beautiful color Victorian trade card is unique for its reverse side, which is all Spanish language advertising. From Dooley, Smith & Co. of San Juan, Puerto Rico; New York; Habana, Cuba (Havana); and Ponce, Cuba. Front of card is the recognized image "Going Mamma's Errands", picturing a girl in her red jacket and Victorian bonnet, holding her basket of Heinz baked beans, tomato soup and pickles. Behind her, the Heinz grocery store stands boldly with signs. Color is brilliant, and there are no mars to the front of card and only very slightly bumped corners to the white border. Reverse has a child's hand-printed backwards letter 'E', as if they had been practicing--so we chose not to erase this. Free shipping in US and calculated International with $3 credit from seller! :)
