This is a recently aquired lady (from an estate in Louisiana) from "Heirlooms of Tomorrow" of Manhattan Beach California. Signed "1383 Beatrice" in gold. Has sticker as shown in photo, inkstamp, and also impressed "88-31-37"(? little hard to read). She stands approx. 8" tall and is in good condition. As typical there are a few issues with the extremely fragile "lace". 1...on the front of the skirt on the bottom left, there is a 1" gap of lace missing. (see photo 4) 2. On the back, the bow on the left side is missing a piece as well as a piece of the lace beneath it. (see photo 5)
3. There is another small piece of lace missing on the bottom of the skirt toward the right side of the back--(see photo 5 again) Other than that, all the lace, delicate fingers and fabric is excellent. When this lady came to me, she was covered in years of brown gunk. I have given her one cleaning with a soft bristled brush and it did wonders. But she could probably benefit from another. No reserve. Reasonable starting bid. Successful bidder pays shipping. Thanks for looking.
