No wearPaint in Very Good Condition*********BEAUTIFUL HAND PAINTED RED ROSES WITH GREEN FOLIAGEBEAUTIFUL SCALLOPED EDGE4.0 Inches Tall With Lid3.5 Inches Diameter This piece is usually called a spooner and was used to hold spoons table side. It can also be used as an open sugar bowl since it's size matches the creamer nicely. This is one of the most highly prized pieces by collectors of Heisey glass. The shape, painted design, and workmanship is very much sought after. And, this piece is in almost perfect antique condition. No chips....no fleabites....no cracks, etc. **************************** Made between 1898 and 1907 by Heisey Glass Company, Newark, Ohio. This particular glass ware was discontinued in 1907.The Beaded Swag Custard/Milk glass was never made with the Heisey mark. It is, however, extensively documented as Heisey by reference books on Heisey glass.I have the entire set of six pieces on Ebay.
