HEISEY Crystal PLANTATION Syrup Bottle ~ Drip Cut Top ~ Original Handle PLANTATION is a pineapple motif pattern produced by The Heisey Glass Company from 1948 to 1957. PINEAPPLES are recognized as a symbol of HOSPITALITY. This SYRUP BOTTLE measures approximately 4 3/4" tall and 3" wide not including the handle. The original chrome plated Drip Cut Top does show age related wear and usage, however, you can still read "Dripcut" on the top and the push down lever works perfectly. The first picture shows the syrup bottle with a copy of a page from a 1953 catalog featuring Heisey Plantation. The syrup is item 17-1567 and lists the description "with Ivory Plastic Handle". Some sellers advertise this bottle with a bakelite handle. I will include this copy with your purchase. The pressed glass bottle features 4 pineapples, has no chips or cracks and is clean on the inside and out!
