Offered for bids is this pristine set of 8 mid-century tumblers with a Wedgwood blue jasperware knock-off design featuring what appear to be Greek gods and goddesses in various states of undress plus architectural columns and lots of flourishes. Come complete with gold-toned metal carrying or storage rack. I am told these are Jeanette by some, Hazel-Atlas by others but they don't seem to match the similar lines from either of those companies and may be from yet a third glassmaker. In any case, these great glasses are 5" tall and about 3" in diameter at the rim and hold 10 ounces. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the designs and colors are intact and uniform. Even the gold rims show little signs of use. The carrying or storage rack is in surprisingly good condition for its age...these were clearly stored somewhere dry as there is minimal tarnishing and pitting so common with these mid-century racks. Very attractive. Please email questions before bidding. No long-winded rules here.
