I opened the box only to verify that the scale wheels are included and that the car is indeed in mint condition; the way it is wrapped leads me to believe it had never been out of the box before. The 2010 Greenberg Price Guide lists it at $70 .00 in mint condition. This item is being sold with no reserve. To avoid putting California bidders at a disadvantage, I pay sales tax out of the proceeds of all my sales; I consider it part of my overhead expense. I have about 200 more S-Scale items for sale - engines, cars, track, switches, etc. Are there any particular items you need or would like? If I have them, I can list them on ebay first and will combine shipping to minimize your cost. It doesn't matter to me which order I list them in, so I'll let you tell me.
