It was manufactured Many Years ago~Probably during the time era when Straight Razor manufacturers were competing with the Newly released Safety Razors~ After thorough research,I was unable to find any information on manufacturing dates~ Any information is welcomed & will be added to this listing. Either Way......It has definitely stood the test of time well~ This Henckels Rapide is a Nickel Plated Razor featuring the J.A.Henckels Rapide Logo Boldly on the Clip on the Back of the head that is used to hold the blade in place~ and a Uniquely Designed~6 Sided Handle with alternating grooved & smooth Sides~ {This is a much different design than this seller has seen often~Possibly Rare?} This Razor uses Hollow Ground Straight Razor Blades Providing the Closest thing to a Straight Shave with the convenience of a Safety Razor~ In a Wonderful Leather Case~ Making this Henckels Set......... Absolutely Beautiful~!!!! This J.A. Henckels Rapide Razor has been previously owned & used~ & a few faint signs of each are present~the most evident being the slight plate thinning/wearto the edges of the blade guard clips on each side of the head~And some plate wear spots in some of the various grooves of the handle~~Nothing major nor serious at all~ That is IT~That is ALL~ These faint flaws may be seen clearly in the photos~though please do remember~ these imperfections may appear much more severe under the magnification of the camera's lens~ than they are in Reality~they truly are Barely Seen at best~!!! Unbelievable~!!!! Any further imperfections have proven nearly impossible to find~ and in No Way affect the Performance of this Handsome Henckels Razor~!!! And It functions as Perfectly as it did~ the day it rolled off the assembly line at Henckels Manufacturing~ So Many Years Ago~ This Rapide is Shave Ready !!!!
