Old Henriot Quimper Breton Peasant Plates - Numbered Pair World famous and the most recognizable pattern produced by the Quimper pottery factory. These plates were made sometime around 1920. The plates have a male and female Breton peasant decoration. Each was entirely hand painted in classic Quimper colors of blue, orange, yellow and green. Each is signed on the back with the name Henriot Quimper above France and the number 114. Scalloped edges. The plates measure around 6 3/4 inches across. Kiln prop marks on the back of each. The plate showing the male figure has a chip on the edge; the other plate was broken and an attempt at repair made (can be reglued for a better repair).
