HENRIOT QUIMPERFRANCE FAIENCE TAB HANDLE BOWL+SMALL TRINKET PLATE For this auction Small & Charming VINTAGE - ANTIQUE 2 Pieces of Hand Painted QUIMPERWARE from HENRIOT QUIMPER FRANCE 2-HANDLED TAB CUP/BOWL and a SMALL PLATE / TRINKET DISH 1.) 2-Handled Bowl or Cup 5.5" across tab-handle to tab-handle x 1-7/8" tall Decorated with Quimper's traditional Breton Man standing with his walking stick in a field The Bowl is signed on the back only "HR" This signature was used from 1904-1930 This sweet little Decorative Bowl is in Excellent condition Very, very few age-appropriate rough spotsand little rim chips No cracks or crazing No loss of Paint Overall it is very smooth 2.) SMALL PLATE / TRINKET DISH 4" across x 3/4" tall Also decorated with Quimper's traditional Breton Man standing with his walking stick in a field The Plate is signed on the back "HB Quimper" This signature was used from 1922-1983 This sweet little Decorative dish has a few age-appropriate chips and rough spots Please see the photos. - T are 2-3 spots on the top edge w the white wash has been worn off and - one larger spot on the bottom under rimthat is chipped and has lost its white wash ***************** On both pieces t is no wear evident to the tin decoration The Earthenware itself shows its age,or was just quite primitively made read more
