Listed today is a signed Henry Bergeson handmade kaleidoscope dated 2002. He named it the Y Not 2K? which he associated with the panic at the time (his words, not mine). It features a liquid filled object case with 20 degree mirrors. It's in wonderful condition with very little wear - there are a few minor scratches and I saw one little nick portion (see pic 5). Just normal wear and tear. It works great and I've even included a few pics of the beautiful images it produces. Oil filled chamber. The brass ring needs to be polished to look its best but no damage noted. This kaleidoscope measures 9-1/2" in length. Some of his kaleidoscopes include a stand but this one does not since it can stand by itself. A Henry Bergeson Kaleidoscope is a marvelous blend of engineering, technology and sculpture. Each kaleidoscope reflects Henry's mechanical design talents and an appreciation of the organic forms suggested by the wood itself. You can't go wrong
