HENRY SEARS & SON 1865 Vintage COKE BOTTLE Pocket Knife This week I will be selling quite a few old pocket knives and pocketknife groups. Some are from a vintage estate that I am selling and some are from my personal knife collection. Different vintage folding knives and old jack knives to come. Please see my other auctions for more great deals!! Just in case you are interested in multiple auctions, ending around the same time frame, shipping will be reduced a little to save you $$ This lot consists of one great looking old Henry Sears pocket knife. This old 3 1/2" Coke Bottle pocket knife has gorgeous old walnut handles and two blades. It is very heavy and thick. ONE BLADE IS DAMAGED, AS THE PICTURES SHOW. This antique folding knife measures about 3 1/2" long closed. This one is very solid and a great old knife for repair or restoration! Very Heavy Duty and Thick ! Both blades are stamped " HENRY SEARS & SON, 1865 ". Henry Sears 1865 knives were made from 1897 - 1959. Both blades snap loud, hard and crisp (even though one is short). EXTREMELY HARD LOUD SNAP! A little of the original factory polish is still showing on the blades! The master blade has the long pull nail nick. Both blades have the "half-stop" back spring. No cracks, chips or breaks that I can find in the walnut? wood handles - very nice! A very solid, hard snapping old knife and very attractive! If you collect the vintage coke bottle pocket knives, this is a nice one to save away. I hate to call it a parts knife - as it is so nice. A rare pattern to find - Good Luck!! A great vintage pocket knife to add to your antique pocket knife collection, vintage jack knife collection, or vintage knife display!! Please place your bids early!! SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE OLD KNIVES - MANY ENDING TODAY! xx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xx Please click on the pictures for a closer look and let me know if you have any questions at all. Most of the items that I sell are sold on consignment. All items are sold "as-is" and "as-found", with no returns. Please ask any specific questions that you may have, prior to bidding and Good Luck!! As always, a low starting bid and NO RESERVE!! Please add $4.50 for shipping and handling, within the USA. Foreign bids are not accepted for this particular sale - sorry. Insurance is optional and at the buyer's request. In most cases, a delivery confirmation tracking number is included with your order at no extra cost to the buyer (US orders only.) ****************************** PLEASE READ BELOW - AUCTION SPECIFICS and FAQ Condition: Photos are part of the description. You can click on the photos for a closer look. If I fail to show a certain angle, a close-up photo or view that is important to you, contact me well before the end of the sale and I will TRY to email a custom photo. If I cannot answer your question or provide a photo before the end of the auction....bid accordingly, since you will now be the new owner. I will mention what I notice and what I feel to be a defect. No one can be an expert on everything, so if you have specific questions, feel free to ask. If I know that something is not correct with an item or suspect a defect, I will mention it. I very well may miss something that is important to you. No question is too trivial, if it will affect your bid price. All sales are final, regardless of description, photos or lack of information. No Returns Policy: Sometimes questions arise about my "items sold as-is, as-found, no return policy". This policy is very important to my sales. Many of the items that I sell are sold on consignment, for others. On these items, I charge a small commission. The owner(s) are awaiting payment after the sale. This being said, after the sale is complete I must pay all associated fees, receive my commission, then pay the balance to the owner(s). I will not ask a consignment customer (the owner of the item) for cash back a week or two after the sale, due to a complaint or bidder r...
