L. Hensel Hawley PA Stereoscopic Views of Scranton PA #1599 No. 8 Colliery on the PA Coal Co’s Gravity Railroad. The PA Coal company Gravity ceased service in 1885 and became the Erie and Wyoming Valley Steam line so these views most likely predate 1885 The Delaware and Hudson and the Pennsylvania Coal Company’s Gravity Railroads which ran between Carbondale Honesdale and Olyphant and from Pittston to Hawley PA respectively, (see my other auctions for more PA coal and D&H views) Scranton Pittston Carbondale Honesdale Hawley Lackawanna County Wayne County Waymart Coal Mining
