American, likely Maryland, ca 1800, of two-piece case construction. Upper section having a moulded swan`s neck cornice terminating in carved rosettes flanking a central pediment with urn finial over two blind paneled doors. Lower section has faux fall-front double drawer pulling out to reveal a fully fitted interior with pocket door and pigeonholes; all over three graduated full-width drawers and resting on a moulded base terminating in French feet. All drawers having cockbeaded edges and replaced bail handles with bat-wing back plates; in an older refinish; 91` high x 39.5` wide x 19.5` deep.
