You are buying a brand new Hercules Avengers Hard Hero Marvel Comics Artist Proof Limited edition statue. This fully painted statue is sculpted by Seth Vandable, stands 15 inches tall, comes ready to display, and is fully painted. The edition size is limited to only 100 and is the artist proof edition version. This statue is brand new, never been removed from the box and never been displayed. Hercules is an Olympian demi-god and superhero in the Marvel Comics Universe and is based on the mythological demi-god and hero called Heracles by the Greeks and Hercules by the Romans. Hercules was first introduced by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist/co-plotter Jack Kirby in Journey into Mystery Annual #1 which was published by Marvel comics in 1965. In his first adventures Hercules was first used as a foil for Thor and appeared with the Norse god in many issues. Hercules finally joined the Avengers and most recently has appeared in the Civil War storyline and World War Hulk.
