This Heritage China decanter is quite handsome! Designed by Ezra Brooks in 1969, it is an impression rendition of the likes of the famous horse, Man o' War. Standing 8 1/2 ("hands") inches high and 11 1/2 inches high including the ears. From nose to tail, the decanter is 10 1/2 inches long. The base rectangle measures 7 1/4 x 3 inches. The bottom of the base reads: "Heritage China (copyright symbol) 1969/NC-6/EZRA BROOKS. The head is detachable from the body and must be secured carefully as there is no inner cork. The right ear has a glaze chip which can easily be retouched. Seeing this on a shelf, one has no doubt of the glory and power of this beautiful horse champion!
