This is a HERITAGE HENREDON folding, round table with a gold dish/pot in the middle. Not sure what exact type of table this is called. It folds in half and has a metal dish/tray in the center when opened up. It has what I assume is leather on the top (the top when folded in half) and gold trim. It is 18" tall (when folded), and about 17" tall (when opened up). It is 4 feet in diameter. T are some nice flower-like inlays (see photos). I'm dating it circa 1954 because of the writing underneath which says 12-54. That would fit with when my friend's parents, who lived in Burlington, NC, would likely have bought it. It seems like part of set of Heritage Henredon furniture they had--see my other auction for 2 Heritage Henredon end tables with the same leather and gold trim. Because those end tables are labeled as being made of mahogany, I think that this table is too. Plus, the wood does look like mahogany. I would say this table is in fair to good condition. The wood top, when opened up, is in really good shape--not perfect, but just a tick below excellent. The leather top, when folded, has some fairly minor damage/scuffing/discoloration--some scuffs on the leather and the wood veneer.
