Original Restored Vintage Herman Miller Executive Work Chair Also known as the “ Time-Life Chair ” *** This chair has been refurbished and restored *** All Aluminum has been polished and the leather has been cleaned and reconditioned -- all parts are ORIGINAL! Some nicks in the aluminum (mostly on the base) have been polished over rather than fully smoothing them out. This preserves the patina and vintage nature of this chair, yet still presents a shine and professional look to your chair. The leather has been fully repaired, cleaned, re-dyed as needed, and top-coated with a gloss leather finish. ****Note the larger style spindle collar on this chair (just above the aluminum base). It's a much harder to find style, and is the same as the ones in the famous Fischer/Spaasky chess match (see picture). This Chair is in very good to excellent condition. You are purchasing the exact chair pictured. Swivel, tilt and spring tension adjustment all work fine. Excellent restoration work has been done on this classic chair -- clean and polished enough to display anywhere, yet retains some of the patina that makes it a wonderful vintage piece.
