A VERY SCULPTURAL MACHINE AGE CLASSIC !!! Vintage, Machine Age / Mid-Century Industrial Modern, Ironrite "Health Chair", designed by Herman Sperlich in 1938, and manufactured by The Ironrite Ironer Company, Detroit, Michigan. First ergonomically designed chair. Made to go with your ironrite machine. Used to prevent backaches. This chair is in excellent condition, with no rust at all. This is original paint with nearly no flaws. I had to flip chair over to find any wear at all. On Bottom) MATERIALS: Steel construction. SIZE: 26 5/8" high; 17 3/4" wide; 19" deep; 17 5/8" seat height. ORIGIN: Detroit, MI, USA. CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: Excellent structurally, and visually. Used but you cant tell it.
