Hermann Hans Christian Anderson #20508-9 The Swineherd LE 11/500 CHRISTMAS!! You are bidding on a NEW #20508-9 Hermann Bear ~ Hans Christian Andersen ~ The Swineherd. ~♥~ Date of publication ~ October 2005. Eighth (8th) in the Hans Christian Andersen World of Fairy Tales Series. Limited Edition ~ 500 pieces. This is bear #11/500 ~♥~ Mohair Plush, polyester/steel granulate filling. With miniature mohair pig in a felt sitting place. Plays "Oh Du Lieber Augustin". This bear is made of a light golden mohair. It is wearing a Faux suede pink vest, checkered pants with two patches, and a dark blue cape. He is made in a sitting position so that he can sit on the felt scene that comes with him. The pig is made of a short pink mohair and his sweet little face is irresistible. I could not get the photo of it that I would have liked because my main camera is not working. The pig has the Hermann button affixed to his side and the Hermann Tush tag. The swineherd had the green Hermann circle tag on his chest, the Hermann button in the back of his head, and the Hermann "tush" tag on the under side of his arm. He also has the number affixed to his leg which matches his hang tag number. ~♥~ This bear along with the others in this series that I own and intend to sell have never been displayed or played with in any way. They have been stored in a climate controlled room with cedar walls . Some did not even come with that while some included both an English and a German edition. I bought all of mine directly from the company in Germany at www.hermann.de from I believe her name is Ilsa, Ilse? ~♥~ These hardly ever come up for auction or on any site.When they do they are generally listed for around $300.00 each. I know because I do a constant search for them as I wanted to be able to collect them all. ~♥~ Unfortunately the economy has not been kind to me and I can no longer collect and so I am forced to sell the collection of these that I do have. ~♥~ The other ones I have are and will be selling (taking offers), The Ugly Duckling, The Emperor's New Suit, The Swineherd, and Little Tiny or Thumbelina. ~♥~ All items are 100% smoke free. We have always had a no smoking policy in our home. We do not have a fireplace, wood stove/pellet stove. These have been stored in a basement in a meat locker (not used for meat or refrigerated anymore for more than 40 years prior) with six inch walls that were cedar lined. It always remained cool & was used only for storage of valuable or important things/collections. So it was rare that the door was ever opened & and since it was a sealed room, it was dust, pest, and light free. ~♥~ Postage is FREE USPS Parcel Post with Delivery Confirmation & Insurance. ~♥~ I will ship internationally but you need to ask me for the postage costs before I approve your bid. ~♥~ ~♥~ ~♥~ We greatly appreciate your payment within 3 days of winning this auction and reserve the right to relist this item if the payment stipulation is not met.
