You are bidding on a vintage Typewriter. This is what I believe is a late 50s model. The Hermes 3000. Overall it is still in great shape and comes complete with the top. It does type in Cursive and all the keys are working well. The keys are Lime Green and the casing is green. T are no dents or dings and only very light signs of use or age. The typewriter needs a new ribbon. Also, I typed a good bit and found that it the keys periodically will not hit the paper. I then hit the tab and it starts typing normally again. Not sure if this is just something w I don't know how it works, or a deeper issue with the typewriter. In any case, it does still work, but note that this did happen. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. A wonderful collectible that is also useful. Below is some info on the Hermes 3000 that I found on Google. Email if you have any questions. The Hermes 3000 was first introduced in 1958 and was an instant success. It was one of the most sophisticated manual portables ever made. Its major innovations included the world's first lightning margins (visible in front of the sheet of paper), a control board grouping all the service keys, and integrated base plate and cover to facilitate handling and carrying.
