This square plate is made of beautiful hand made, hand painted original Hernandez Puebla Talavera pottery . There are holes left open in the bottom for hanging on the wall so there is no special hardware needed for wall display. The plate is painted with lead free paint and measures 12" X 12" square x 1 1/2" tall. Talavera is a glazed pottery produced in Mexico, mostly in the region of Puebla (due to the quality of clay in that region). Talavera is the oldest tin glazed ceramic in the Americas.
