Up for auction is this Herschede 5 tube movement. It is being sold as is. Note: T are NO weights, tubular bells or a pendulum. I will ship the movement and dial only. However t is a case with this clock which needs lots of TLC. It was made by the Colonial Mfg Company, Zeeland, Michigan and dates from around 1915. It is available for local pickup only (Too big to ship). So if you buy the movement you can have the case for free if you pick it up. The movement needs to be cleaned but otherwise seems OK. Some minor rust on the steel. The case has had some water damage and t is some lifting of the mahogany veneer. The case will need to be refinished. The bottom glass in the door is missing. This could be a great project clock for the right person. When finished this will be a very nice clock. If I can help with additional photos let me know.
