1967 Herschede 8 day 5 chime Grandfather Hall Clock with moon dialThis clock as far as I can tell is in good working order. I have it runningand it makes all the chimes ring. T is almost no visible ware to the woodsurface except for the very top ball of the finial, even this is very small, see pic. The door works fine, The crank [ the original one ] says Herschederight on it. The glass is fine and it looks great too. This clock is 6 feet3 1/2" tall from the floor to the top of the finial. It is 19 1/2" wide atthe widest part and 12 1/2" deep at the deepest part. The key I havefor this clock is not original but the crank is. T is a switch at theright side of the clock face for silent or chime mode of operation. Tare five chimes in this clock and as far as I can tell they all work theway they should. T are three places to wind with the crank, one foreach weight. I see no damage to the exterior of the this item or the glassfront and sides ether. Inside the back of the clock on the works [ if youremove the sound panel ] you can see the serial number 622997 and theHerschede crown. I looked it up on the web on a Herschede site and found it was made in the year 1967. T are two numbers on the back 5757 [ I think it's the case # ] and 515 ? I'm not sure. T is a plate on the inside of the door says [ Herschede 8 day 515 Macon the Herschede
