A non reserve offer for a fine Chinese famille rose enamelled celadon-glazed vase with handles. It is of moulded hexagonal sectioned baluster form and decorated with polychome enamelled figures of Chinese nobility and Taoist and Precious symbols with gold highlightings. The vase stands 8 7/8" tall and is about 4 1/4" wide (22.50cm x 10.75cm). It is slightly compressed if viewed side way. The stylized dragon handles are a bit flat and gilded. Except for some minor wear of the gold trims as seen on the rim as well as on the figures, the vase is in overall fine condition. The celadon glaze is smooth and attractive and typical of the Tung-chih period, but the vase probably dates to late Qing to early Republic. Domestic shipping is $18 inclusive of priority postage, insurance and handling charge. International shipping is $38. Many thanks for checking out this special offer. Goodluck with your bidding/treasure hunting.
