Heywood Wakefield Set of 6 DOG BONE CHAIRS Wheat Finish - MINTY! Offering today a set of six (6) Heywood Wakefield Dog Bone chairs in Wheat finish. These classic chairs make up one of the most desirable and hottest selling styles of production Mid-Century Modern design, with their smooth lines and signature "dog bone" cut-out design in the back. The chairs are all marked with the distinctive Heywood Wakefield eagle stamp. They are model # M 154 A Side Chair, manufactured from 1950-1955. They measure 18" across the seat, 16" deep, the height of the back is 16-1/2" and they stand 33" tall overall. All of the chairs are solid as a rock, with NO repairs! On a scale of 1 to 10, these would rate a solid 9. T is no need to spend any money on refinishing this set - it is ready to be put it your house and used! This set is ready to grace your home. The original Wheat finish was beginning to look a little faded, but did not actually warrant refinishing - rather the original finish has been professionally cleaned, touched-up and refreshed with two coats of hand-rubbed satin lacquer, which should extend the use of these chairs for another 10 years (possibly many more years, depending upon actual use and care). The seats have been newly upholstered in a fun and funky designer screen-printed WAVERLY fabric (WAVERLY was one of the fabrics originally found on these chairs, 50 years ago!). We have more of this wonderful fabric available ($25.00 yd.) if you want to really snazz up your space by adding co-ordinating window treatments (valences, curtains), or table linens (table runners, placemats, etc.). We will notify you when they are shipped, and the GREYHOUND terminal will call you to pick them up when they arrive at that destination. The terminal will hold them for you for three (3) days before adding a storage charge. Option #4: You are welcome to make your own shipping arrangements with the carrier of their choice. We can professionally pack these for shipment in three boxes for a fee of $50.00.
