Selling at no reserve, one ten piece dining room set made of solid birch wood with "WHEAT" finish made by Heywood-Wakefield, USA 1955. This all original set (except chair upholstery) consists of 2 cat.# M1554CW "DOG BONE" arm chairs, 6 cat.# M1554A "DOG BONE" side chairs, one cat.# M1557G triple "WISHBONE" dining table with two leaves, and one cat.# 1543 buffet. Markings: all pcs. stamped Heywood Wakefield, wheat, plus catalog number, chairs also have cloth and paper labels. Measurments: table 40" x 26" wide (w/drop leaves down) to 40" x 94" with drop leaves up and both leaves installed, buffet is 60" wide x 18" deep x 32" high.. Condition: original finish worn, usable to some, others would re-finish. Chairs: tight and free of breaks and splits, two side chair are discolored near the bottom of the legs but no rot or loss of height, the picture showing the side of the arm chair shows worst of the worn finish. Table: top has wear/dullness to the finish but no stains, the only small split is to one of the leaves this leave also is darker than the rest of the set (was stored elsew in the house), some nicks and finish wear to the legs from use, butterfly supports and hinges in good working condition. Buffet has minor finish wear otherwise in very good condition (has lined cutlery drawer) all drawers clean and work properly. NO SHIPPING on this item, buyer pick-up or make own arrangements, New Jersey buyer add 7% sales tax.
