**Also**: I marked chairs "Local Pickup Only" above, but I can arrange for UPS Ground packing and shipping to USA, possibly Canada, see below, amount will vary based on postal code. Offered at NO RESERVE: This is a set of original Heywood-Wakefield Dining Room Chairs, manufactured 1947-1950, in the Champagne color. Model # M 155A, which is the same type as on the cover of the popular reference book on Heywood by Steve and Roger Roulland, also widely sold on EBay, see last pics in listing (note however in caption to cover photo it lists date as 1950-55, even though 1947-50 later in book.)These are really great Heywood chairs, the most comfortable dining chair they made (I've sat in alot of Heywoods in showrooms in NYC) --due to the unique curved and solid back that really contours nicely to your back. The backside of the seat back tops is also very elegant, maybe why they're on the cover of the Rouland book, see my other listing w I show them with a Heywood table I have available separately, they set it off nicely. I bought these on Ebay about 4 years ago as part of a dining set with a Heywood folding table for nearly $2500, the market value of the chairs alone is probably about $600-800 (A relative of mine paid $1400 for a refinished identical set to these) but t is NO reserve so you will likely have a bargain, I need to get these out! The chairs are in good original condition, not perfect, but very presentable as-is for regular use. t is no warping or cracking, just some surface scratches, and slight noticeable outline of the wood bolts on seat-backs on a couple (see close-up pics). The older vinyl covering is torn on the last (#4). In general, #1 and #2 are in a bit better shape than #3 and #4, which have some edge wear at top of seat-back that the first two do not. The MANY detailed pictures tell the story very clearly. They are photographed in sequence: #'s 1, 2, 3 & 4. Once you see the label saying which one it is, all pics that follow are THAT chair, then changes when see the next numbered label. I try to make it so you can judge the chairs just as well (or better) as if seeing it IN PERSON--like I do all items I sell on EBay-- so if you are looking for this item, is a great opportunity! You will almost never see this many pics of an item like this on Ebay! Anytime you see a shot with my finger pointing in it, it is clearly pointing to a flaw of some type-- I have covered all the flaws on every section of the chairs, I used to be a heavy Ebay buyer and always hated it when sellers didn't give as full a disclosure on items as should, leaving me guessing, so t are no surprises SHIPPING INFO:The chairs are available for pick-up for free, I can store for a month or two following payment. I have marked it "Pick-up only" above, but will ship via UPS if buyer wishes, according to shipping info at end of description, it may vary a bit within lower 48 USA States depending on your location. I **may** also be able to deliver in Manhattan/Northern NJ/Westchester area, with 45 minutes/20 miles or so of my location (see below) for gas/toll money, but contact me in advance if this is necessary for you. If you wish to pick up, I am in Englewood, NJ, 07631, just a few minutes from the George Washington Bridge, which connects to Manhattan, NYC. On shipping, I weighed and measured the chairs and my local UPS outlet gave me a quote, it is approximately $150-190 via UPS Ground to ship insured to lower-48 States in USA, including packing. The easiest way to ship is two chairs to a box, stacked upside down one on other with insulation, seat to seat. In this way the two boxes are 30 lbs. each, size 36x36x25 inches apiece.****Please do NOT bid on the chairs if you do not accept the shipping realities and cost of this heavy/bulky set/item that I have outlined , and/or you cannot pick-up!**** I am wi...
