6 HICKORY SHAFTED GOLF CLUBS 6 Hickory shafted golf clubs 1. FH Ayres 1 Iron 39" long Shallow grooves on club face and hitting area Back of club head marked: "WARRANTED HAND FORGED" with the Ayres Maltese Cross logo. "FH AYRES SPECIAL 1 IRON" The club head is securely attached to the shaft. The shaft is marked: "SELECTED" just below the brown wound leather grip 2. Unmarked smooth faced long iron (Approx 3 iron loft) 38" long Club head securely attached to the shaft. The grip consists of wound fabric and feels quite thick 3. Unmarked long iron 37 1/2" long Dashed grooves in the hitting area The club head is securely fastened to the shaft. The shaft is unusual in that it thickens towards the hosel The grip appears to be a vulcanised rubber material and this has become hard, but is still playable 4. W ? Gibson & Co Ltd Special Mashie 35" long The back of the club head is marked: "MADE IN SCOTLAND HAND FORGED SPECIAL MASHIE" with the Gibson five pointed star and the letter "L" towards the toe. An oval stamp in the middle of the back of the club head contains "W ? GIBSON & CO LTD KINGHORN SCOTLAND" The club face has punch dots in the hitting area.
