The above is a RARE hardcover book and slipcase entitled Hiden Nihon Jujutsu (Secret Japanese Jujutsu Schools). The author of the book is Ryuchi Matsuda. The printing date is September 1, 1978 and it is a First Edition, First Printing. The book covers in detail four of the most popular forms of Jujutsu still practiced in Japan: Takenouchi-ryu, Yagyu Shingan-ryu, Shosho-ryu and Daito-ryu. The book contains historical information about the schools as well as techniques demonstrated by modern day students. There are also rare pictures of the associated densho's from each of those schools and biography's of the headmasters.
