This print is numbered 78/850 and is signed by the artist and pilot Tommy Sopwith. This is a great price for this piece of art which is highly desirable and retails for over 800 pounds. The name Robert Taylor has been synonymous with aviation art over a quarter of a century. His paintings of aircraft, more than those of any other artist, have helped popularise a genre which at the start of this remarkable artist's career had little recognition in the world of fine art. His paintings are now appreciated by enthusiasts and collectors alike . SOPWITH CAMEL: was the most successful fighter of World War one. Claiming almost 3,000 air victories. The Sopwith camel was the first designed fighter to have two forward firing machine guns. Its design gave it amazing maneuverability and aerobatic qualities. and was perfectly suited for aerial dog fighting. This print is in excellent condition with brilliant colors and no paper damage...no tears no stains, no water marks. Please notice a small fold in the pictures.
