What I have for your consideration is a device I call The Tender Descender. I created the Tender Descender because I could not buy a device to do what I wanted to do with my Level 2 rocket that I call the ICU. The ICU is 5 inches in diameter, stands just shy of 8 feet tall and weighs in at 18 ½ lbs on the pad. After the flight I had several people tell me that I need to market this thing, so it is! · The Tender Descender is a Main parachute release device for doing dual deployment from a single compartment! · You no longer have to modify your favorite rocket with a separate electronics bay to do dual deployment! · You can do all this without having to do any structural changes to your rocket. · It’s simple! It’s reliable and it’s affordable! I have included several pictures from my L2 flight as well as pictures of the device itself.
