Stern High Roller pinball machine. The good. Made by Stern=quality, excellent customer support, parts and service easily available. Playfield is in very good condition, t is no wear through on the playfield and only very small amounts of scoring in the heavy traffic areas. All plastics are fully in tact and look good. All rubbers excellent. Flippers and poppers work 100%, pop hard and flip hard. Voices and sounds work good and sound great. Brand new oem legs on the front, I replaced them because I could not get the levelers un stuck. Bulbs work and are nice and bright. The back glass and dot matrix are in excellent working order and look great. The machine plays fast and is a blast to play. Now for full disclosure, the not so good, which is not all that bad and most people selling pins would not even tell you this, like the guy who sold it to me. I've had the machine for a year and the kids and I have enjoyed it much. No problems. The only malfunction of note happened when I did not play for a while, a couple of months, when I turned it on it would not boot up. I left it on for a while then turned it off and on again and it has worked fine ever since. I don't know what the problem was, I am not a pinball mechanic, I can do the very basic like cleaning, fuses, bulbs and stuff like that. I bought this machine from an importer (did not tell me) so it was originally sold to Portugal. I contacted Stern and they told me all the machines are the same and made to easily converted from 110 to 220. So no issues t The coin door is another story. The coin slots are marked 50L. I changed the mechs to take quarters but they were 2nd hand and work only ok. I suspect someone who knew how to work on them could make them work great. To put it in service a sure bet would be to buy a complete Stern door with mechs for around 200 dollars. Otherwise for the home it is fine and a good way to save quarters. T is a hole between the flippers w a post was, that is how machines shipped outside of the US are set up. The guy who sold it to me removed the post so t is a hole t, no big deal, you can see it in the flipper photo. T is a bank of lights in the upper part of the playing field that don't work and the chip target on the right side does not score when hit. T is a very small crack in the ramp from the plunger alley I tried to show in the picture, hardly noticeable. The plug has been cut off and replaced with a US 110 model. The cabinet is decent but has some scratches that have been touched up and are not prominent enough to distinguish in photos. I have replaced some of the stickers on the targets but t are a few that could stand to be replaced. All that being said this is really a solid machine, I think it really was not played all that much for a service machine just by looking at the condition of the playfield, and the power of the flippers and poppers. This will be a true auction with a 99 cent starting bid. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. I say that so you can shop around for rates and of course you pay only actual shipping costs. I will be more than happy to assist with shipping if buyer has any questions, and I will also answer any questions posed to me through ebay. Thanks for looking.
