MACKINTOSH ~~~~~~~~~~~ Hard Cover's; Approx. many pages; Approx. 5 1/2 X 8 1/4 inches. Published by D. Appleton and Company; 1923. Description: Two wonderful volumes about The Highland Clans of Scotland. A must have for any history collector. Condition: Good condition minus considering the year - These are two maroon hard cover books, ex-library copies with the usual markings and sturdy library bindings. There is wear on the spine ends, edges and corners. Some of the edges and corners are worn through the cloth with some fraying as well. The covers have some fading, scratches, scuffs and light soiling. There is some chipping on the first three pages of volume one. I did see some small tears on some of the pages but not a lot. There is a couple of pen and pencil marks but not a lot as well. The spines are firm and the pages have some light soiling here and there but are clean for the most part. Overall these books are still sturdy, readable and collectable. NOTE: The letter/number at the end of the title line for this listing is just an inventory code for locating the book.
